6. Aleksandra (now Lenina) Street at its crossing with Gertrudes (now K. Marksa) Street in about 1905. The dwelling-house at the street corner to the left is the former «BUngnerhaus» (architect A. Giesecke, 1900). The house opposite it was built in 1903 (architect R. Schmaeling). The other buildings are characteristic of the wooden houses of Riga suburbs in the early 20th century.
